The Global Health Impact Group (GHIG), in collaboration with the International Diagnostics Centre at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (IDC/LSHTM), with support from bioMérieux, launched a free 3-week online course covering the role of the microbiology laboratory in the fight against antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

This unique course utilizes e-learning modalities, such as mini-lectures, animations, practical training videos and discussion forums, to address basic principles and applications of microbiology laboratory techniques for AMR. All modules showcase internationally known expert faculty.

GHIG recognizes climate change as a global emergency impacting global public health. As a company, GHIG has formally pledged to reduce our carbon footprint and any potential wasteful practices. Pledge to Climate Change and Health

As scientists, we recognize the need to tackle mounting health risks posed by global warming. Changing climate conditions and global warming are changing the patterns of infectious disease transmission and making deadly disease outbreaks and pandemics more likely; placing significant strains on fragile health systems in low- and middle-income countries and worsening health outcomes of vulnerable populations.

We hope that you will join our commitment to a sustainable healthy future.
