GHIG works with partners to bring attention to patients at risk for advanced HIV disease and to help identify them as early as possible supporting Who guidelines and the Package of Care.

WHO released a package of measures to ensure rapid initiation of antiretroviral treatment and diagnosis of opportunistic infections to reduce the still high rates of death in people diagnosed with HIV at a very advanced stage of disease. GHIG will be joining key partners to support the Advanced Disease Guidelines and Package of Care.
