The 2023 World Health Assembly Resolution formally recognized the vital role of diagnostics and prioritized strengthening and expanding health systems. Diagnostic capacity is a key part of public and global health preparedness and interventions. Knowledge can accelerate diagnostic access and promote uptake as decision makers and policy makers understand the technology and their value. This set of activities are intended for a broad audience and captures different topics and processes to support accelerating access to diagnostics.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, a think tank was formed to bring together key opinion leaders (KOLs) to provide updates on the unique role antigen testing has in the diagnosis of both HIV and COVID-19 with practical examples of how antigen testing fits into larger HIV and COVID efforts.
