Global Health Continuing Professional Development (GHCPD)
GHIG has recently launched an educational platform for continuing professional development in global health and laboratory medicine. A major driver for this was the need for information on the most recent advances in COVID diagnostics and testing strategies to support low- and middle-income countries.
Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on COVID-19 Diagnostics and Testing
GHIG provided technical expertise to an online course on the basics and latest recommendations to support COVID-19 testing capacity, targeting low- and middle-income countries. This course, hosted by FIND and LSHTM, is offered in both English and French through the Future Learn platform.
ACDC Fellowship of Faculty Leaders
As part of the GHCPD program, GHIG is working with Africa CDC to develop a self-guided learning diagnostic curriculum that will support the Africa Task Force for Novel Coronavirus (AFCOR). This curriculum will be led by the Africa CDC Fellowship of Faculty Leaders.
